Peninsula Vineyard Road Travel Routes
The Peninsula, which has the first known winery in Anatolia, created today's vineyard route with the strength it draws from its history. The winery, located in the Bağaltı area of the ancient Çeşme port, where the Hittites and Cretans produced and exported wine in the 2000s BC, is being unearthed by archaeological excavations. The 151-kilometer vineyard path, intersected with walking and cycling paths, takes enthusiasts through 6 stages in the vineyards in Selçuk, Menderes, Seferihisar, Urla, Çeşme and Karaburun and brings them together with the producers.
